Mrs. Berry holds an Associate's Degree from Sinclair Community College, a Bachelor's Degree in Science with a concentration in Rehabilitation Services and a Master's Degree in Education with a concentration of Intervention Specialist. She attended Wright State University for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Mrs. Berry joined the DECA staff in the summer of 2003. She is currently the Director of Operations for the High School. She obtained her Professional Administrator's License in 2012. Mrs. Berry was the 2009 MetLife Foundation Ambassador in Education.
Her former roles at DECA includes Assistant Principal, College Counselor, Co-Registrar, College 101 Instructor/Czar, Truancy Liaison, Leadership Team Committee, Dean of Students, Gateway Committee Member, Student Government Advisor, Senior Class Advisor, DECA's Future Teachers Liaison, OFIC Grant Manager; Home Bound Instructor; Wright STEPP Liaison; Young Scholars (OSU & Sinclair) DECA Liaison. In addition to her many roles at DECA, Mrs. Berry also serves on the Board of Directors for the Common Application. She served in the past on the Common Application Counselors Advisory Board, Miami University Admissions Advisory Board (ret. 2013), The Ohio Counsel of College Admissions Counselors (OACAC), Guiding the Way to Inclusion conference planning committee and the OACAC Scholarship review committee. Mrs. Berry provides college planning workshops for various local programs including PACE and Sinclair's Young Scholars Program. She has also served on the local executive board for the Dakota Center, a local community outreach center. Mrs. Berry also serves as an adjunct professor for the University of Dayton's School of Education and Allied Professions.
