Ms. Martz has been a science teacher at DECA since 2005. She completed her undergraduate degree at Miami University receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Microbiology. In 2002 she furthered her education obtaining her teaching licensure in life science for adolescents to young adults. A collaborative project on gender bias in the classroom was her central theme as she completed her Master of Arts in Teaching in 2003 from Earlham College. Ms. Martz is currently the STEM Director and a STEM Fellow through the Dayton Regional STEM Center. She teaches Anatomy and Physiology at DECA and she is also the STEM teacher at DECA PREP.
