Dr. Judy Hennessey is a Dayton native who graduated from Colonel White High School and Wright State University. She earned her doctorate from the University of Dayton in school leadership. Dr. Hennessey has been a teacher, university instructor, special education supervisor, principal, director of personnel, and assistant superintendent. Before she came to DECA, she was the superintendent of the Oakwood City Schools for seven years.
Dr. Hennessey has been married to Mark for 36 years, has two grown daughters and four grandchildren. She loves to do stuff outside and likes to cook. Dr. Hennessey LOVES DECA students, families, and teachers! She believes DECA inspires everyone to be the best they can be and, of course, go to college!
