Martha started working at DECA through a contract with the University of Dayton’s Urban Child Development Resource Center beginning in 2009. She is part of the first generation in her family to obtain a college education. She began her career in Social Work after graduating with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree from Wright State University (1989). She obtained her Master of Social Work degree from the Ohio State University (1991). She has 20 years of experience providing individual, group and family counseling to children, adolescents and families in a variety of settings. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Ohio, with a Supervisor endorsement.
